After being educated in the Island, he completed his degrees at Lancaster University and Warwick University. On graduating, Dr Dixon worked in University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire and Rugby Hospital. While he enjoyed working in a large NHS trust, he missed the qualities of working in the Isle of Man. After returning home to complete further training and qualifying in General Practice in 2019, Dr Dixon has completed further specialisation in dermatology and minor surgery. His other interests include men’s health and mental health.

Qualifications

Dr Roger Dixon is a qualified General Medical Practitioner and has undertaken continuous re-appraisal and revalidation. Dr Dixon’s qualifications are a Bachelor of Sciences at Lancaster University in 2008, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Warwick Medical School in 2012, Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2019; Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University in 2023, currently undertaking a master’s degree in Dermatology at Cardiff University and Member of the General Medical Council, GMC No. 7285602.
